🚔 Road Policing Unit Pursuit Leads to Arrests and Recovery of £3,000 Worth of Stolen Property

On Friday 18 September, officers from the Road Policing Unit were conducting mobile patrols on the Stakehill Industrial Estate when they observed two occupants of a vehicle acting suspiciously.

Subsequent enquiries revealed that the vehicle was insured to an address a significant distance from its current location. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the driver failed to do so, resulting in a police pursuit.

The vehicle was brought to a stop a short time later, and both occupants were detained and arrested. A search of the vehicle uncovered a pallet of stolen goods valued at approximately £3,000. The property was later returned to the rightful business owners, who were unaware that the theft had even occurred.

Following several hours in police custody, both males were charged with a total of six offences.
